The waiters are very polite. Three poolside ambience is very relaxing. All the items were well prepared. Chipotle chicken burger, fish and chips as well as cheesecake were delicious

This place keeps getting better and better. Nice environment and well cooked food. I don't know the chefs, but they are definitely doing a good job.

The baby back ribs fell off the bone! It's listed as an appetizer but I ate it as a meal because I was craving ribs. Also when I first saw Dinah's garden hotel I was skeptical about the garden claim. Though the pool side restaurant was a very peaceful environment -- especially given the contrast of the usual concrete and development of Palo Alto. Good to find another nature-y spot in PA not named Stanford.

Great place for brunch. You can side poolside and be surrounded by loads of greens and palm trees. The restaurant is far off the street or any noise which makes it really relaxing and gives it some serious chill vibes. It's a great escape from always busy Silicon Valley. Service is really friendly and works hard to do a good job. During busy hours they just struggle a bit to keep up and it might take a while before they take your order and until food comes out. The food is American and the portions are big. I love how they keep it traditional here and don't seem to add anything artificial as you can really taste the original ingredients. Their food is full of flavor. It's not very unique or special but just really solid food. They don't have espresso drinks but only filter coffee. They freshly squeezed orange juice. This place attracts a rather older crowd.

I can't believe we've lived in Palo Alto for three years and are just now finding this gem! Dinah's lives a farm-to-table ethos, and it shows--all of the food is incredibly fresh and tasty. They also have a nice variety of seating areas--you can opt for a poolside meal, or a quieter, indoor dining experience.

The staff are so welcoming! The food is great and the poolside resort atmosphere provides me 'vacation' a few miles from home.

Great food and good service. We were quite late but they were pretty accommodating. Thanksgiving turkey dinner was excellent. Nice place to visit with family.

This is a gem, which I was fortunate enough to be exposed to at a business lunch years ago. They have a great menu filled with a nice range of items that can appeal to anyone. The poolside environment gives it a leisure feel.

Was great! Grounds are fun and pretty. Unique and boutique. Rooms were comfortable and great as well. Staff accommodating. Will definitely revisit!

Dinah’s was delicious: quiet and the perfect brunch place. My boyfriend and I were seated quickly by the pool and the garden around the pool is a nice setting. I had an omelette which was really tasty! I would definitely come back here for Sunday brunch.

Really excellent restaurant. Patty melt is amazing. The breakfast is great- order anything with the smoked salmon. Avoid the dry fried chicken. Service is great and the ambience by the pool is really relaxing.

Mixed crowd, not too crowded. One TV above the bar area, no sound. This is the restaurant in the back, not the front. Service: Great! Staff was friendly and seemed like they enjoy working there. Food: Great! Had the seafood risotto and it was great. Be careful though, it's extremely hot but good. The complimentary bread and butter were great too. Had the mango mojito and it was good. Cost: a bit expensive but worth it. $55 including tip.

It was a lovely dinner! I had the special tasting menu. The octopus was really good. Im not a huge seafood fan, and I loved it! The lamb shank was pretty good. It was a lot of food and it was worth it. The service was for the most part great but there was a 10-15 minute period where the staff was non existent. Everything else made for a lovely evening.

This is an often unrecognized gem. The poolside setting is unique and food is good. Perfect for a nice weather

This is the fun weekend place, you sit by the pool and enjoy a good breakfast. Only downside is no espresso or cappuccino machine.

This place feels like you're on a film set depicting the late 70's/ early 80's. Great wine selection, the food is average.

It's always good. And you're eating outside and poolside. Try the octopus appetizer and steak frites medium rare. Comes with a salad. Fantastic!

Great little place! Clean big room with great aircon and a really good shower. The pool area is small but very pretty and they have lots of little paths over bridges across the little rivers full of fish which looks spectacular. Prices are good and they have a happy hour from 3pm till 6pm at night. They give free gharadelli chocolates in the room after making the beds and also free apples and light breakfast are available from reception.

Iconic Palo Alto brunch experience, with the usual favorites and more. Very relaxed, an island apart from the busy area.

It is a nice atmosphere. I felt as if the restaurant was overwhelmed when we were there. The waiter apologized for a cup of coffee that he had splashed coffee all over, telling me it was not dirty, just covered in coffee. Is that still the best idea? Hmmmm. I really disliked the corn beef hash I ordered so much I had to send it back and the toast had a lot of residue from some other item that had burned on it so I sent that back as well. The omelette I got to replace the hash was okay, nothing to write home about but the waiter brought it quickly and provided good service. My friend really liked her burger meal a lot. I felt rushed out by the waiter at the end of the meal in order to accommodate a large table who were waiting. So I did not have a great experience. It was mixed.

We went for breakfast and dinner. The staff are nice and helpful. The food is mostly good - some dishes are realy great and some are just ok.The crepe, steak, hamburger and eggs were wonderful. The coffee, tea, Mexican dish, fish and cheese cake less..

Wow I loved this place. Every single person I talked to was super nice, very willing to give me recommendations and time to decide what I wanted. The food was also phenomenal. The happy hour deal was also solid.

The service was a bit show and they moved up our order. The outdoor area was nice.

We went with four people for lunch. We thought that the lunch menu was very nice and you can order off the breakfast menu until 2:00 p.m. . Two of us ordered sandwiches and two of us ordered breakfast items. We were all very happy with our choices. I think that Dinah's is quite a nice place to have lunch.

Pan seared salmon with purple potatoes was amazing.
